what happens when I make an offer ?
securing a property
Once you find the property of your choice, it is paramount you ‘secure' that property, which involves paying a holding deposit (usually 2 weeks rent). This secures the property whilst the tenancy agreement is being drafted and satisfactory references are being obtained. The holding deposit is deducted from the first rental payment.

references
References are required to satisfy the Landlord that you are of good character and are able to make the rental commitments. These typically include personal, employment, banking and previous landlord details. We provide all the necessary rental forms and will advise you on how to complete them.

In some circumstances, particularly with student tenants, the Landlord will ask for a guarantor to underwrite the rental commitment. The guarantor will need to satisfy the Landlord of his capability to service this commitment.
